NEYMAR has said goodbye to his Barcelona pals in person after making a stunning start to his career at Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite news that his former club are looking to sue him for the princely sum of £7.8million, the 25-year-old was happy to show face in the city and have a rendezvous with Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez.

And Neymar trolled centre-back Pique, with an Instagram caption "stays" under a picture of the pair together, along with a laughing emoji.

Before his move to Paris was completed, Pique posted an emotional Insta selfie saying "stays"... and of course Neymar fled just days later.

Messi posted a picture to the mobile social media platform, with the Brazilian sandwiched in between himself and Suarez - the trio nicknamed MSN - as he said goodbye to his former team-mate.

Argentina ace Messi captioned his post "volatile" with a series of laughing emojis.

In a third post, the striker was snapped alongside former Barca and current PSG team-mate Dani Alves, as well as with Ivan Rakitic.

Neymar has made a stunning start to his Paris Saint-Germain career, following his stunning £196m move from Barca, which was completed earlier this month.

He netted twice in their 6-2 trumping of Toulouse at Parc des Princes on Sunday, following a first club goal at Guingamp a week before.

PSG will be in the Champions League draw on Thursday, after finishing second behind AS Monaco last term in Ligue 1.

The French capital club hope to make a second stunning swoop for Kylian Mbappe, with the French media speculating another £100m-plus deal is in the pipeline for the teen sensation.

A deal really would re-write the rule book in terms of transfer fees, with both deals set to cost the club nearly £330m.
