A host of European giants such as Champions League winners Madrid and a host of Premier League clubs have been trying to seal a deal for the striker.

But it is PSG who appear to have finally won the race for Mbappe, according to .

And it has been the huge financial package on offer that has swung the potential £183m deal in their favour.

The France international is due to pocket a whopping £265,000-a-week at the Parc des Princes, where he will line-up in attack with the world's most-expensive player Neymar.

Madrid were also willing to meet the huge asking price set by Monaco.
