JULIAN DRAXLER has snubbed the chance to join Monaco as part of Kylian Mbappe's £128million move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Monaco wanted the Germany star to be thrown in as a makeweight in the deal which will see Mbappe make the switch to PSG.
The French giants were happy to throw Draxler in as part-exchange for teen sensation Mbappe - but the player threw a spanner in the works by rejecting the move out of hand.
PSG have made the Germany star available for transfer having already splashed out £198m to take Neymar to the French capital.
But Draxler made it clear he had no intention of making a move to Monaco, in the knowledge plenty of big clubs around Europe are looking at signing him.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are among the Premier League clubs who have made an early indication of their interest.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been a long-term fan of the wide man and is understood to be considering making a £32m bid to bring him to the Emirates.
But Bayern Munich are also preparing an offer to take the 23-year-old back to the Bundesliga.

Arsenal's position may harden in the next few days with the club still concerned they are about to lose Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alexis Sanchez before the end of the transfer window.
Sanchez has yet to play this season and is still hoping to secure a move to Manchester City this summer if the Gunners finally cash in on him.
And Chelsea are trying to piece together a deal to take England ace Oxlade-Chamberlain to Stamford Bridge before the window shuts next week.
Wenger has made it clear he wants to keep the pair, but both players are now in the final year of their contracts and showing no sign of signing new deals.
That leaves them exposed to losing £100m worth of talent for nothing next summer - so they may be forced to take the money on offer this month.
Should either player leave, it would increase the need for Wenger to bring in a replacement, with Draxler high on his list of targets.
