Manchester City starlet Jadon Sancho to snub Arsenal and Manchester United to sign for Tottenham
Seventeen year-old wonderkid wants return to capital and sees Spurs as offering best hope of regular first-team football
MANCHESTER CITY starlet Jadon Sancho is set to snub Arsenal and Manchester United and sign for Tottenham, according to reports.
The 17-year-old wants a return to London and sees Spurs as offering the best chance of regular first-team football.
Sancho, who started his career with Watford, was heavily tipped to join Arsenal.
He even reportedly stopped training at City in a bid to force through a move to the Emirates.
However, that Sancho has set his heart on Tottenham.
The teenager, who can play in a variety of positions behind the front man, was player of the tournament at the European U17 Championship this summer.
City want him to be part of their future and offered terms of around £30,000-a-week to sign his first pro deal with them.
But the player does not believe he will get many first-team chances in Pep Guardiola's squad.

However, it will not be easy for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to capitalise on Sancho's desire to join his team.
The player has one year left on his scholarship contract and, although he could sign for another club during this period, he could only play for them with City's permission.
ESPN say City are unlucky to give this, and that City would also be due compensation of up to £4million.
German clubs Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also said to be be monitoring Sancho's situation.
