Manchester City to battle Paris Saint-Germain for £55million Porto midfielder Danilo
Etihad bosses could muscle in with deal that allows the Euro 2016 winner to become a City player for 2018/19
FC PORTO midfielder Danilo has emerged as a target for Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
The two moneybags clubs face a £55million tug-of-war over the Portuguese star.
It could be that City reach an agreement by which Danilo would actually only become their player in 2018/19.
Porto definitely don't want to sell the Portuguese international but will sorely tempted buy the vast fee both City and PGS can easily afford.
The French giants could be prepared to take 25-year-old Danilo now as they are desperate to try and recapture the Ligue 1 title from Monaco.
The prospect of linking up with £198m superstar Neymar may appeal to a player who helped Portugal capture the Euro 2016 trophy.
But City will be in there fighting hard.
