RAVEL MORRISON has been handed the chance to revive his career - in MEXICO.

The former Manchester United wonderkid will be allowed to leave Lazio for the right deal and FC Atlas are interested in snapping him up.

They are willing to make him one of the highest paid players in the Mexican league.

Morrison, 24, was on loan at QPR last season but only managed one start before heading back to Italy.

Birmingham boss Harry Redknapp was looking at a loan deal earlier in the window but no deal was struck, leading to interest from Central America.

He has two years left on his current deal with Lazio but is unlikely to get regular football in the Italian capital after two frustrating seasons.

But FC Atlas are among the clubs who believe they can help him fulfil the potential seen in glimpses at West Ham when he was playing in the Premier League.

Morrison was one of United's brightest future prospects when he was in their youth team.

And former team-mate Jesse Lingard revealed earlier this year that Morrison was even more talented than £89million-midfielder Paul Pogba.

He said: “Even at 18 nobody could tackle him and he scored goals and produced skills you shouldn’t be able to at that age.

“In the Youth Cup every one of his performances was above 8/10, you knew he’d be a top player.”
