MANCHESTER CITY wonderkid is back at Celtic... to complete a medical ahead of a proposed second loan stint at the Scottish giants.
The former Fulham attacking midfielder, 20, has already spent 18 months in Glasgow, winning two league titles during his first stint in Scotland.
Roberts is said to have rejected deals from Ligue 1 giants Nice and Premier League side Southampton in choosing Celtic.
The nine-cap England Under-20 international joined Man City from Fulham back in 2015 - after the youngster had made just 19 league appearances for the Londoners.
After just a single league appearance for City, he was shipped off on loan to Celtic on an 18-month deal in the January of 2016.
During his season-and-a-half in the Scottish city, Roberts helped the side to two Scottish Premierships, one Scottish Cup and a League Cup.
The English star thrived north of the border, turning out 32 times in the league last season, scoring nine times.
All in all, Roberts has played 60 times for the Hoops, scoring 17 times.

It's therefore no surprise the 2014 European Under-17 Championship winner opted to head back to Scotland.
Brendan Rodgers' assistant at the club, Chris Davies, even said: “There is a home for Patrick here, but ultimately he belongs to another club.
“It will be a collective decision by the player and the club as to where it’s best for him to go, or whether he stays there.
“All I know is Patrick did really well for us."
Celtic now appear to have got their wish, as Roberts will return for at least another season.
