NORWICH CITY have reportedly inked defender Grant Hanley to a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The Scotland international was deemed surplus to requirements at Newcastle and didn't make the cut for Rafa Benitez's in his new campaign in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old was given permission to leave the Scottish camp as they prepare for the World Cup Qualifier against Lithuania on Friday to undergo a medical and complete the signing at Carrow Road.
Hanley was keen for a move to ensure regular playing time, something he wouldn't find in Newcastle after making just 10 league appearances for the Magpies last season.
He departs from Tyneside after seeing through just one year of his five-year contract at St James' Park.
The Canaries are in need of defensive help following a tough start to the season that sees them sat in 22nd in the Championships.
After five games, in which they have lost three, Norwich has conceded 12 goals and head coach Daniel Farke is pleased to add strength to his defensive line.
Farke said: "He is a quality defender with very solid experience and is a leader too. I really like his attitude and his desire to come and play for us as well as the attributes he will add on the pitch."
