ANTONIO CONTE is facing a disastrous transfer deadline at Chelsea after he missed on Bayern Munich star Rafinha, according to reports.

The Italian boss has already missed out of Romelu Lukaku, Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

And Fernando Llorente looks close to choosing London rivals Tottenham over the champions.

The Blues might still be able to grab Danny Drinkwater and Ross Barkely from Everton but Rafinha has apparently joined the long list of top-tier players to swerve Stamford Bridge.

The versatile full-back is unlikely to start ever game in Munich but, at 31, he is a highly respected member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

There have been rumblings over Conte’s future due to his failure to land other top targets like Antonio Candreva.

But he insisted after his side’s Everton win that he was happy at the Bridge but desperate for reinforcements.

He said: “I’m totally committed to the club.

“Totally committed to improve my players and my team. I’m a coach, not a manager.

“For sure, when you want to strengthen your squad, you have to give your opinion. Then the club goes into the transfer market to try and sort the situation.
