Arsenal striker Donyell Malen joins Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in permanent move
The former academy forward joins Eindhoven after failing to make the breakthrough with Arsene Wenger's first team
ARSENAL'S teenage forward Donyell Malen has joined PSV Eindhoven on a permanent deal.
Malen, 18, started his career at Ajax and returns to his homeland with the prospect of more first-team football at the Eredivisie side.
He joined Arsenal in 2015 and impressed at Under-18 and Under-23 level, but his time at the club has come to an end.
Malen scored 27 times in 67 games for Arsenal and has signed a three-year contract.
He will have to fight for places with the likes of Gaston Pereiro, Luuk de Jong and will play alongside Chelsea loanee Marco van Ginkel.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have made a staggering £92million bid for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
The sum has been AGREED with the Ligue 1 winners - but the 21-year-old reportedly wants to go to Liverpool.
Missing out on the player would represent a massive blow for Arsenal, who have lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for £40m to their rivals.
