Wilshere is battling his way back to full fitness after suffering injury while at Bournemouth on loan
ARSENAL star Jack Wilshere will be a January target for Fenerbahce, according to reports.
report the Turkish giants failed to sign Wilshere on their deadline day – 24 hours after the English window closed.
A £10million bid was tabled for the England international, and with time running out, a loan deal was proposed.
But both deals broke down and the Istanbul side are set to go in again for the Wilshere in January.
Despite Wilshere falling down the pecking order at the Emirates, the Super Lig side will have their work cut out landing the midfielder who has a year left to run on his current deal.
It’s also been reported the Gunners Academy product is reluctant to move too far away from London and West Ham was his preferred choice if he left the Emirates during the summer window.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is happy for the midfielder to fight for a place in his starting line-up, he was prepared to listen to offers for the player who has yet to make an appearance this term.
