Jese Rodriguez reveals secret heartache as Stoke striker has to travel back to Spain to visit premature baby son still in hospital
Former Real Madrid man posted emotional tribute to baby Nyan on social media
JESE RODRIGUEZ has been playing through secret heartache this season - with his infant son in hospital for the last few weeks.
The Stoke star, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, posted an emotional tribute to his newborn on social media on Wednesday, describing baby boy Nyan as "my WARRIOR".
It is understood that Nyan, who was prematurely born at the end of June, is in hospital in Gran Canaria, Spain.
Jese has been regularly travelling back to see Nyan, his third child and first with girlfriend Aurah Ruiz.
Owing to his premature birth, there had been some complications, but Aurah had earlier confirmed that he is recovering well.
And Jese, who scored the winner against Arsenal and impressed in the draws with West Brom and Manchester United, posted a heartfelt message to his son and girlfriend.
Posting a picture with Nyan in his arms, he wrote in Spanish: "If the world thinks you are not good enough, it is a LIE.
"You are the best thing that has happened to me.
