DAVID DE GEA has hinted at a long-term Manchester United stay – by moving into a plush new pad.
The Red Devils star has been wanted by Real Madrid for the past two seasons and Los Blancos will go back in for him next summer.
United feared of an imminent exit after the Spanish goalkeeper sold his luxury £3.85m Cheshire mansion earlier this year.
But the ex-Atletico Madrid ace has now moved 500-yards around the corner, easing the worries of the Old Trafford faithful.
It is understood De Gea and stunning girlfriend Edurne are renting the pad with the option to buy down the line.
A source said: “They have only moved around the corner, but he will still have plenty of packing to do.
“He has numerous Man of the Match awards to ship and has hired local firm Osbournes to do the heavy lifting.
“It looks like good news for the club, and the fans should not be losing any sleep, he has long-term plans here.”

It is understood De Gea was renting his ex-mansion in Cheshire, at a cost of £12,000-per-month.
But the owners decided to sell up, taking a couple of years to find a buyer for the house which came with an outside pool and gym.
De Gea has also revealed how he wants to become the best goalkeeper in the world – and United will help him do that.
He said: “I always want to be the best.
“I train hard to improve every day, in every training session, so I work really hard to be the best keeper in the world.
“I don’t know who is the best at the moment, but this is what I want.
“All three keepers at United – Sergio, Joel and me – train really hard to be the player who is on the pitch to play in the games.”
