WAYNE ROONEY was banned from driving for two years and slapped with 100-hours community service after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving earlier this month.

The Everton forward, 31, was found to be three times the limit when arrested with 104 micrograms of alcohol in his breath... as the legal limit in the UK is just 35 micrograms.

After being sentenced, Rooney said: "Following today's court hearing I want publicly to apologise for my unforgivable lack of judgement in driving while over the legal limit.

"It was completely wrong. I've already said sorry to my family my manager and chairman and everyone at Everton FC.

"Now I want to apologise to all the fans and everyone else who has followed and supported me throughout my career.

"Of course I accept the sentence of the court and hope that I can make some amends through my community service."

WHEN Rooney made his emotional return to Everton from Man United, he arrived for his press conference in the stunning BMW i8.

The sleek and sporty number would have set England's all-time leading goalscorer back at least £100,000.

On top of that, with a top speed of 155mph and a 0-60mph time of just 4.4 seconds, Roo will be missing out on some serious adrenaline rushes in the next two years.

PERFECT for Rooney the family man, the Audi Q7 is a super-fast SUV - perfect for ferrying the kids around in a hurry.

Costing at least £50,000, the German motor can reach eye-watering speeds of 144mph.

The Audi can even do 0-60mph in just 7.3 seconds - which for a car of that size and weight is mightily impressive.

THE most expensive so far, Rooney's Overfinch-modified Range Rover is arguably the cream of the crop.

Roo's 4x4 was modified to his exact specifications and would have set him back at least £200,000.

It was the last car the Everton man drove before his driving ban was enforced - and it's easy to see why, with a top speed of 161mph and a 0-60mph time of just eight seconds.

BACK in January of this year, Rooney was spotted in a "flame orange" Bentley GT.

A terrifyingly quick vehicle, the sleek motor can shatter the 200mph barrier - and blitz 0-60mph in under four seconds.

That one will certainly be missed during the ban...
