‘Longer than her daddy’ Frank de Boer trolls himself over daughter spending more time in England than him after Crystal Palace sacking
De Boer posts picture of his daughter on social media and pokes fun at himself as she studies English at University and will last longer than his 77 days at Selhurst Park
FRANK DE BOER has poked fun of his short spell in charge at Crystal Palace, as he congratulated his daughter who is to start studying at Cambridge University.
Losing at Burnley condemned Palace to four straight defeats – making it the worst start to a Premier League season and the Dutchman was sacked after just 77 days in charge.
Do Boer's stint at Inter Milan lasted just another eight days but as he is set to leave England, his daughter will head to Cambridge University.
His daughter Jackie De Boer will study English at the world famous University for six months, that longer than her father’s spell in the hot seat at both Inter and Palace.
He took to social media to tell the world how proud he was of his daughter’s extended stay in the country.
He posted on Instagram: “ Good luck Jackie de Boer at Cambridge.
“Very proud of studying English for 6 months, we’re gonna miss you #longerthanherdaddy #proud.”
De Boer was immediately replaced by Palace chief Steve Parish with former England boss Roy Hodgson.
The 70-year-old coach was back in the Premier League after five years away but could not halt the Eagles fifth straight defeat of the season at home to Southampton.
Palace now face the daunting task of travelling to Manchester twice to face City and United in their next Premier League games and then face champions Chelsea at Selhurst Park.
