Harry Kane the ONLY English player amongst the top-55 in the world, as voted by professional football superstars themselves
PUNDITS and fans alike have been desperately trying to get to the bottom of why England have failed to win a major tournament since the 1966 World Cup win.
From tactics and the manager to simply the pressure from the general public, there have been dozens of suggestions.
But perhaps it's much more simple than we all make it out... maybe England just don't have enough top quality players.
That's certainly a sentiment echoed by professional footballers themselves, as they've voted just ONE England star into the world's top-55.
That honour goes to Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Aside from the Spurs superstar, there's no-one who makes the list of the world's best, with Jamie Vardy dropping out having been in last year's edition.
Over 25,000 pros voted to find the Fifa FIFPro World XI, with an astonishing 13 of the 55 players coming from Real Madrid.
Along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, Keylor Navas, Dani Carvajal, Marcelo, Pepe - now at Besiktas - Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Casemiro, Isco, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema all make the grade.

The 13 players from one team is a record number of stars from any one club to make the list.
However, while England struggles internationally, the Premier League is represented very well in the list.
No fewer than 13 players from the English top-flight make the list, with Mesut Ozil a shock inclusion, while Manchester City star Sergio Aguero incredibly misses out.
Elsewhere, Manchester United strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku are joined by Eden Hazard, Philippe Coutinho, Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez and N'Golo Kante amongst others.
Incredibly, despite 55 players being on the list, just NINE clubs are represented - compared to 20 nationalities, including Costa Rica.
Real Madrid are joined by Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Man United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool on the list.
