Chelsea on red-alert over Edinson Cavani following his row with PSG new-boy Neymar
Antonio Conte could make a move for the Uruguayan forward after his very public fall-out with the world-record signing
CHELSEA are on red-alert over Edinson Cavani following his very public row with Paris Saint-Germain new-boy Neymar.
The two PSG forwards almost came to blows last weekend, during the 2-0 Ligue 1 victory over Lyon.
Both Neymar and Cavani tussled to decide who would take a penalty during the game - with the Uruguayan winning the battle, but missing the spot-kick.
During the same game, Dani Alves frustrated Cavani by denying him the ball and handing it to Neymar before a free-kick.
With the players at loggerheads with each other, PSG could be forced to sell Cavani in order to keep the world-record shattering £198million man Neymar sweet.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is desperate to add to his attacking ranks, with Diego Costa set to leave Stamford Bridge this winter.
While PSG are keen to cool any rift between Cavani and Neymar - with the Brazilian unfollowing his team-mate on Instagram - they know they may need to sell.
Cavani previously became frustrated when he was not the No1 threat when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was on the books in the French capital.
