ANTHONY MARTIAL has been snubbed by France again despite scoring three goals in as many games for Manchester United.
The striker has been in dazzling form under Jose Mourinho this season, becoming one of United’s main scoring outlets from the left wing.
But France boss Didier Deschamps clearly thinks Martial still has work to do after leaving him out of the squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria and Belarus.
Martial missed out on games against the Netherlands and Luxemborg during the last international break.
And the attacker is sure to be even more despondent after Spurs midfielder Moussa Sissoko was instead handed a national recall.
The former Newcastle favourite has benefitted from an injury to club team-mate Mousa Dembele and is now in contention for his country, with Paul Pogba also out on the sidelines.
Also back on the scene for France is ex-West Ham ace Dimitri Payet, with Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane included on the back of his new contract.
Boss Deschamps revealed: “Moussa is playing matches in different positions, he’s an additional option.

“For the last squad [Payet] was injured. The competition is strong in attack, but if he regains the level he should be at, it makes sense that he returns with us.”
Deschamps is also excited at the prospect of Kylian Mbappe transferring his Paris Saint-Germain form to the international scene.
He added: “[Mbappe] can play all positions in attack. He does everything very quickly. Without throwing flowers at him, what he is capable of doing is incredible.
“It does not justify the price of a transfer, but he is capable of doing things that are out of the ordinary.”
