Kevin De Bruyne says joining Man City made him a better player after he hit winner against former club Chelsea
KEVIN DE BRUYNE says Manchester City have made him a better player after he was sent out with the rubbish by Chelsea.
De Bruyne was dumped by the Blues after hardly getting a chance to prove himself before he was allowed to leave for Wolfsburg.
But since his move to the Etihad Stadium his game has gone from strength to strength - and his brilliant matchwinning display at Stamford Bridge showed Chelsea just what they are missing.
De Bruyne said: "What happened, happened. I have no regrets of coming here – it made me stronger coming.
"It’s part of my career obviously. I made a decision at the time, Chelsea made a profit on me.
"I am very happy with my new team - with City and all of the players.
"It ends a very nice month for us. it's only the beginning but it's good to maintain the winning streak.
"We want to win as many as possible. We want to lose as few game as possible because the feeling when you win is better.

"We have two games with the national team and then come back and continue.";
City team-mate Fabian Delph gave an impressive display as a makeshift left-back following the season-ending injury to Benjamin Mendy.

And Delph revealed the players had an extra incentive to win the game for their stricken Frenchman.
He said: "Its huge, it’s massive. We knew coming into the game that it was the toughest of the season.
"That game was for one of our team-mates - Benjamin mendy. That one was for you big man.

"We are happy - we come away with three points. It sends out a massive message. We needed to come out on top today.
"There’s a massive togetherness and that could be seen out there on the pitch today."
