CHELSEA target Andrea Belotti could be out for months after he was stretchered off with a knee injury today.
The Torino striker looked in great pain when he suffered the problem in the 85th minute during the 2-2 draw against Verona.
Belotti was seen writhing in agony as he grabbed his leg before being stretchered off the field.
And his injury clearly affected his team-mates, who conceded twice in the last five minutes to forfeit the victory.
Belotti will now have a scan on his knee and there are fears he could be out of action for a long time.
Manchester City left-back Benjamin Mendy recently tore ligaments in his knee and will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery.
But Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is hopeful the damage to Belotti isn’t too serious.
He said: “It’s still too early to know long Belotti will remain out of action.

“He has a knee injury but we still don’t know how serious it is. He will undergo medical examination tomorrow.”
A serious setback for Belotti would put a potential move to Premier League champs Chelsea in serious doubt.
The Blues failed with a £60million bid for the striker last summer before opting for Alvaro Morata instead.
But they continued to be linked as they look for more options in the final third.
