Slaven Bilic will get until end of the season to prove he is worth new West Ham contract

The Hammers left it late to beat Swansea at the London Stadium to ease the pressure on under-fire boss Slaven Bilic going into the international break

WEST HAM boss Slaven Bilic will be until the end of season to earn himself a new deal, according to reports.

The Hammers left it late to squeeze past Swansea to lift themselves out of the bottom three.

report Bilic is under pressure at the London Stadium, but the there is no desire from among the Hammers top brass to make a change.

The win on Saturday was a huge boost for the club going into the international break with now available Carlo Ancelotti linked with a return to England.

The former Chelsea boss was sacked by Bayern Munich after the humbling defeat by Paris Saint-Germain last week.

The Italian coach has not been contacted by West Ham to replace the under-fire Croatian.

There is a feeling among the Hammer hierarchy that with players returning from injury and with a run of games against Burnley, Brighton and Crystal Palace, there is scope to go on an unbeaten run.

Bilic felt the brunt of the home fans frustration on a Saturday when his side were booed off at the interval and when he replaced Javier Hernandez with Diafro Sakho.

Bilic’s change was justified as Sakho scored the only goal of the game right at the death for just their second league win of the season.

The Hammers are 15th in Premier League and travel North to in-form Burnley after the international break.
