Manchester City star Leroy Sane is officially quicker than a T-Rex, a brown bear and a roadrunner
German international clocked up a top speed of 22.05mph in the 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend
MANCHESTER CITY star Leroy Sane is officially quicker than a T-Rex.
The German international, 21, clocked up the fastest speed of and Premier League player against Chelsea on Saturday.
Sane peaked at 22.05mph in the vital 1-0 win away to Antonio Conte's Blues at Stamford Bridge in the tea-time kick-off.
Incredibly, that means the former Schalke star is faster than the most famous of all dinosaurs.
Tyrannosaurus Rex are thought to have been able to peak at around 21mph... just behind brown bears at an impressive 21.7mph.
But speedy Sane could outrun either of those terrifying creatures if dumped in a sticky situation.
The Man City ace is also able to out-sprint a roadrunner - and by default Wile E. Coyote - and deadly species of snake, the Black Mamba, who can move at 20mph.
Sane - who has scored five goals in ten appearances in all competitions this season - could also get the better of a dangerous polar bear (18.6mph).
For reference, the flying City winger is far speedier than a raccoon (15mph), squirrel (12mph), pig (11mph) and, of course, the tortoise (0.19mph).
During Saturday's game, a stunning, rising, left-footed wonder-goal from Kevin De Bruyne gifted a dominant Man City the win they deserved in West London.
The Etihad giants put in a disciplined, gritty display to come away with all three points - with the injured Sergio Aguero absent after his car crash.
