But despite the chance of celebrating with the players, fans have snubbed the chance to watch the game live.
There has been a long-running feeling among supporters that the games leading up to the major tournaments have become pointless.
And the FA will be further embarrassed after two Sunday's of NFL action that saw over 80,000 American football fans at the stadium.
