ENGLAND'S HQ for Euro 2020 has already been decided - without the months of planning it took ahead of the World Cup.
The matches will be shared between 13 cities across the continent as Uefa mark the 60th anniversary of the tournament.
And The FA have decided to use their state-of-the-art complex at St George's Park as the staging point for England's campaign.
With the semi-finals and final being staged at Wembley, the Three Lions could even have a short journey and home advantage if they make it that far.
Chief executive Martin Glenn ensured the national team would make good use of the facilities while drawing up Gareth Southgate's contract.
Former boss Roy Hodgson was not keen on using the base as he prepared for the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.
But Southgate has been more prepared to satisfy his boss' wishes since taking over the reins.
England breezed into the World Cup after going unbeaten in qualifying - extending a long run of success outside tournaments.
But while reaching the finals has been almost a foregone conclusion, the Three Lions have struggled once they arrive.
Southgate has chosen the Russian village of Repino as England’s base for the World Cup next summer.
It is understood the 107-room ForRestMix club, on a secluded part of the Gulf of Finland and 19 miles outside St Petersburg, has been identified from over 70 venues from Fifa’s brochure.
