GARETH BALE has been reunited with his jailbird father-in-law at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Martin Rhys-Jones, father of Bale's fiancee Emma, was released early from a six-year sentence after being sent down for a $2.9million fraud in the US.
But Bale, Rhys-Jones and Emma were pictured together as Wales crashed out of World Cup qualification on Monday night.
James McClean scored the only goal as Chris Coleman's side lost, without their star man, in front of a raucous Cardiff crowd.
Fraudster Rhys-Jones, 53, has been behind bars in the US and Spain for money laundering.
He conned investors into buying almost worthless shares "at severely inflated prices" in the UK, US and Canada.

About 250 people were scammed, with investments ranging from around $2,000 to more than $360,000.
Bale and Emma have been together since meeting at Whitchurch High School in Cardiff.
Rhys-Jones was released in June and father and daughter were reportedly spotted at a family christening last month - although Real Madrid star Bale snubbed the event.
Bale and Emma also brought their wedding date forward after Rhys-Jones was let out of prison 16 months before his planned release date.
The wedding is expected to take place next summer.
The fraudster is said to have "found God" behind bars and vowed to be a dutiful father and grandfather.
Bale has two children and another niece.
Bale was pictured alongside a number of family members in a box.
His mum Debbie and dad Frank were also there, as well as sister Vicky.
Pictured in the background are two beefy security guards who rarely leave Bale's side.
The couple hired the ex-SAS soldiers after a bag of drugs, cash and luxury watches - worth in excess of £1million - went missing from Emma's grandparents' house.
