ARSENAL star Olivier Giroud is a reported transfer target for Juventus and Inter Milan.
claims the striker is being lined up for a move to Italy next summer after falling down the pecking order in north London.
Giroud has proven himself to be a consistent goalscorer after netting 100 times in 237 appearances under Arsene Wenger.
But the 31-year-old is now playing back-up to club-record £53million signing Alexandre Lacazette.
And it doesn’t appear Giroud will be getting regular action any time soon following Danny Welbeck’s triumphant return from injury and Alexis Sanchez’s reintroduction to the starting XI.
His situation is said to have alerted Juventus and Inter, who are both interested in bringing Giroud to the Serie A.
Champions Juve are apparently set to lose Mario Mandzukic next summer and feel targetman Giroud would be an ideal replacement.
While Inter are light on numbers in attack and could utilise Giroud effectively in their new-look team.
Whether Arsenal want to let the veteran go remains to be seen.
But Giroud came close to leaving for Everton in the last transfer window, which could indicate that Wenger will not stand in his way should the right move come along.
