LAZIO have confirmed “several offers” for star midfielder and Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Serbian ace is regarded as one of the finest young players in Serie A and has been attracting serious interest from Jose Mourinho.
The Special One scouted Milinkovic-Savic earlier this week during Serbia’s World Cup qualifier against Austria.
And the player’s agent – former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman – claims United are ready to launch a bid.
Rivals Manchester City are also keeping tabs on Milinkovic-Savic, who has plenty of technical ability despite his height and strength.
And it now seems a number of suitors have made their move for the star, with Lazio revealing they’ve received bids upwards of £62million.
However, the Italians are confident Milinkovic-Savic wants to stay put in Rome after signing a contract extension six months ago.
Director of Football Igli Tare told Premium Sport via : “It is the pitch that decides the player’s price-tag.
“We have received several offers for him. We have received offers exceeding 70million euros (£62m) but not from Juventus.
“He signed a contract extension six months ago and that means that he is happy here.”
