CARLO ANCELOTTI will snub AC Milan in the hopes of becoming Juventus' new manager in the summer.
Milan's new Chinese owners spent big in the summer — and demanded immediate success.
However, they have lost four of their first eight Serie A matches, and former boss Ancelotti was swiftly linked with a return following his sacking at Bayern Munich.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager enjoyed huge success with Milan, having won the Champions League twice.
However, he is unwilling to make a return to a club which clearly has no direction and is keen on a second crack at another of his former clubs: Juventus.
Failure to win the Champions League again could see Massimiliano Allegri leave in the summer — especially with the defence of their domestic title under serious threat this season.
Juventus have won the Scudetto for the past six seasons, but find themselves in fourth place and five points behind leaders Napoli after a first home loss for over two years.
Ancelotti, 58, managed the Old Lady between 1999 and 2001, but endured one of the worst periods of his managerial career.
In his first season, they finished in seventh place and blew a two-goal lead in the Champions League semi-finals to bow out against Manchester United.

And Juve lost the title on the final of the season in both of the following two campaigns before he was replaced by Marcello Lippi, who immediately brought the league title back to Turin.
Ancelotti is the most successful manager in Champions League history with three triumphs, and the Allianz Stadium board believe a return to an establish side — rather than one in transition like in his first spell — will offer a greater chance of success.
And, former ex-Bayern boss, a return would offer him the chance of making things right at the one managerial role he seriously failed to meet expectations.
Ancelotti has turned down a luxurious move to the Chinese Super League as he looks for one last crack in Europe — and is even wanted by the Italian national side.
