Bastian Schweinsteiger admits no clubs want him as MLS stint nears end
World Cup winner who played for Bayern Munich and Manchester United is 'open to everything'
WORLD CUP winner Bastian Schweinsteiger admits no clubs want him as his MLS stint nears its end.
The former Manchester United and Bayern Munich star is now 33 years old.
But his future appears more uncertain than ever with his contract at Chicago Fire nearing its end.
Schweinsteiger moved to America in March and scored on his debut in a 2-2 draw with Montreal Impact.
He does have the option for a year-long extension with the club.
But despite his stellar playing record it seems no new clubs will be in for him.
The former Germany captain told Eurosport: "I signed for only one year because I wanted to see how everything goes.
"The state of things is that I have this contract but I don't have anything else yet and I'm open to everything.
"Then we'll see what happens."
Schweinsteiger recently revealed he loves ballet and opera.
And that he frequents some of the States' finest museums.

Married to tennis star Ana Ivanovic, Schweiny lifted the lid on his hobbies in an interview with Chicago magazine Michigan Avenue.
Describing his perfect day, he said: "Maybe go to a museum, have a nap in the afternoon and then it depends – let’s say watching an ice hockey game in the early evening – and then if there is any time to go to the opera.
"Because the opera, theatre, ballet, bring me down from the day. When the orchestra starts playing I relax.
"That’s it. I’m not going out for parties."
