GARETH BALE is racing to be fit for an emotional return to North London.
The Real Madrid star posted a video of himself going through the paces in training.
A calf KO has kept Bale, 28, out for almost a month, in which Tottenham grabbed a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu.
He also missed Wales' defeat to Ireland which stopped the Dragons - who reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016 - from reaching the World Cup in Russia.
But the injury-prone Galactico looks to be making good progress from the clip he uploaded.
Bale stretches his legs with some light running before practising his ball control and passing.
Marca report he returned to training on Thursday and is aiming on being fit for the Champions League clash against old club Spurs.
In the video uploaded by Bale, he practices without his Real team-mates but the session comes as a huge boost to his comeback plans.
The winger last played in the 3-1 win at Borussia Dortmund but was forced off injured in the 85th minute.
Meanwhile, Real are confident in landing Spurs hotshot Harry Kane next summer.
Tottenham face a season-long battle to keep hold of their prized asset - a fight they lost when Bale moved to Spain for a then world-record fee of £86million in 2013.
It is clear only a fee close to the £198m world record Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar in the summer could tempt the Londoners to sell.
But they have no intention of letting their 24-year-old superstar leave and the England striker insists he is happy at the club.
