Sean Dyche insists Burnley are his priority despite ‘flattering’ links with Everton job
Says in-demand Dyche: 'I'm respectful of all clubs in all situations. But I'm equally respectful of my situation now'
SEAN DYCHE has once against sought to dampen speculation that he could drop Burnley, this time for Everton.
Last week the Clarets boss did the same when linked to the then vacant Leicester City post.
Now, after the sacking of Ronald Koeman on Monday, Dyche has had to reassure Turf Moor fans that his only concern is for Burnley.
He revealed there has been no contact with the Toffees and that he is purely concentrating on preparing his side to face Newcastle United on Monday.
Dyche said: “It hasn't changed. I've said a few times with the various clubs that have been mentioned.
"You're always flattered because it recognises the work that myself, my players and staff do.

"Yet again, another good club, I'm respectful of all clubs in all situations.
"But I'm equally respectful of my situation now.”
Dyche insists all the speculation - he was also linked with Crystal Palace in the summer - isn't affecting him.
“No. I just get on with it.
"I've been through it, had the experience of those sort of links at various times, more so than in the last couple of years, I just continue to get on with what I'm doing and that's the focus.”
