LIVERPOOL have suffered another crushing blow as Philippe Coutinho was ruled out of the Premier League clash with Huddersfield through injury.
Jurgen Klopp's Brazilian talisman is also a doubt for next week's Champions League clash against Maribor and the following game against West Ham.
The star suffered a muscle strain in training this week and now adds to the Reds' long injury list.
He joins Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne on the treatment table at Anfield.
Coutinho, who remains a top transfer target for Barcelona, has damaged his hip.
The club's medics took the 25-year-old for a scan that revealed the full extent of his problem and ruled him out of Huddersfield's first visit to Anfield since the 1971/72 season.
Although his side's results have not reflected it, Coutinho was returning to top form for the Kop boys after missing the start of the season with a back problem.
The former Inter Milan man has only made nine club appearances so far this campaign - scoring three goals.
