Alexis Sanchez has a ‘social contract’ with team-mates and will give his all for Arsenal, says Arsene Wenger
Chilean has yet to hit the same form as he did last season but Wenger is confident he will be back to his best soon
ARSENE WENGER insists he is not worried about Alexis Sanchez's attitude — because he has a 'social contract' with his team-mates.
The Arsenal forward has had his attitude questioned since his failed £60million deadline day move to Manchester City.
But Gunners boss Wenger is confident the Chilean still has the desire to win and give his all for the team.
Wenger said: "I am not concerned.
"I am not suspicious of the performances or the desire to win of a football player.
"When you are a player you have a social contract with the rest of the team and I never question that.
"Once you don't respect that, it's difficult to say that you play football."
Sanchez is yet to hit the same form he showed last season with only one goal and two assists in seven league outings this term.
But Wenger backed the former Barcelona winger to come back stronger as the Gunners prepare to take on league leaders City on Sunday.

Wenger added: "I think he's coming back stronger physically.
"He runs after goals at the moment so he's a bit frustrated when he doesn't score, like all the goalscorers.
