MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho recently called Romelu Lukaku his "Untouchable"... but Reds fans don't even have him in their top three most important players.
The Belgian forward, 24, got off to a flying start to his time at United after joining from Everton in the summer.
Lukaku scored 11 goals in his first 11 games... but is now without a goal in his last SIX appearances.
The former Toffees star had another game to forget as he went missing in the 2-0 win against Benfica on Tuesday... but Mourinho has no plans to drop him any time soon.
The United boss said: “Romelu is one of the players that should be untouchable in terms of the respect of everyone.
“He is playing extremely well for us and, yes, I have to protect my players when I feel they deserve it.
“Romelu always deserves it because what he does for the team is fantastic. Playing football for a striker isn’t just about scoring goals.
“So, untouchable in my team and he should be untouchable in support from the fans. But fans are fans, they pay the ticket and do what they want.”
