Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino ‘heads up six-man shortlist to replace PSG boss Unai Emery’
Reports in France suggest the Argentine, who has said he is happy in North London, would be the French club's first choice
MAURICIO POCHETTINO reportedly head up a six man shortlist to replace Unai Emery at PSG.
The Tottenham boss' stock has risen after watching his side defeat Champions League holders Real Madrid 3-1 and secure their qualification to the next round.
Poch has not indicated a desire to leave Spurs after building up a team that finished second in the Premier League last season.
But French publication are claiming PSG are looking at the former Southampton boss to take over if Emery fails to impress with his multi-million squad.
Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Andre Villas-Boas and Gallardo make up the rest of PSG sporting director Antero Henrique's listing.
The report goes on to claim the former PSG player could be tempted to come back and manage the club he captained during a two year spell as a player.
Emery's future is secure at the moment as PSG qualified for the next stage of the Champions League with a 5-0 win over Anderlecht.
But the report suggests if the Ligue 1 leaders do not make it to at least the semi-finals, his job could be on the line.

Poch revealed last year that he did have ambitions to manage PSG one day.
He said: I've always said that I would be pleased to join a great club like PSG.
