Meet Lincoln City’s newest fans, conceived during the Imps’ historic FA Cup run
Then-National League side went on heroic run in the giant-killing cup, where they lost to Arsenal in the quarter-finals
FORGET the Busby Babes... here’s introducing the Lincoln Babes.
The Imps’ historic FA Cup run to the quarter-finals last season was so romantic that fans celebrated by conceiving future supporters and, who knows, possible players.
Their miracle run was ended by big-boys Arsenal in the last-eight, but that didn't ruin the romance of the cup for some fans.
Connor, Harper, Thea and Ennis all had their photo taken with the Emirates FA Cup as their parents celebrated their births.
Also another baby has recently been born aptly named “Lincoln”.
Harper’s dad Lewis said: “I’ve been a Lincoln City fan for years, and being able to watch my team in the FA Cup last season was like a dream.
"As Harper is now a Lincoln baby, it is really nice to keep that tradition going.
"We can only hope for another cup run like it this season.”
