Real are eight points behind leaders Barcelona in third and trail Tottenham in Group H of the Champions League.
But Los Blancos captain Ramos, 31, told Cadena SER: "I do not agree with Cristiano. I think it’s an opportunist opinion.
"When we won two Super Cups [Uefa Super Cup and Supercopa de Espana], nobody missed anyone.
"I would place more of the emphasis on injuries. The team is stronger when we're all together."
Real's failure to find the net has proven a problem this term.
Marco Asensio and Isco are the club's top scorers in the league with four, while Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have just one apiece.

Last term, Morata pitched in with 12 goals and offered Zinedine Zidane another option from the bench.
Real have lost that Plan B since the Spaniard's £65million summer move to Chelsea.

But Ramos aimed a parting blow at his compatriot, who he is on international duty with ahead of friendlies against Costa Rica tomorrow and Russia on Tuesday.
He said: "I don’t miss anyone. No one.
"The squad has changed, of course, but some contribute some things and others have another role."
Morata, 25, insisted he would return to the Bernabeu - but that the situation is "complicated".
