Steven N’Zonzi opens door to Premier League return with Manchester City and Arsenal eyeing swoop
STEVEN N'ZONZI has opened the door to a Premier League return.
The Sevilla midfielder, contracted with the Spanish giants until 2020, has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Manchester City.
Leicester also had a £30million bid turned down for the 28-year-old in the summer of 2016.
And the former Stoke and Blackburn ace, who made his France debut against Wales last Friday, would not rule out swapping La Liga for the Prem once again.
N’Zonzi said: “Who knows what is going to happen. I am not going to talk about contracts.
“I love the Premier League. I really like the Premier League, this is where I started at a good level.
“I had a great time there but I don’t know what is going to happen in the future.”
N’Zonzi, who faces Liverpool in the Champions League next week, now has his sights set on a World Cup spot for Les Bleus next summer.
But there is stiff competition with Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante to also return in midfield for Didier Deschamps’ men.

N’Zonzi added: “It is a good time (to make my debut). I feel good playing in Spain but there are a lot of players.
“There are a lot of quality players so I couldn’t complain not to be in the national team because in my position there are a lot of good players and competition.”
Olivier Giroud has returned to Arsenal after suffering a minor thigh strain on international duty and will miss France’s friendly with Germany on Tuesday.
Giroud, 31, is now a doubt for the north London derby against Tottenham on Saturday but the Gunners striker has not made a Premier League start for Arsene Wenger’s men this season.
