Manchester United transfer news: Real Madrid to ‘sell Gareth Bale in summer’ and try and replace injury-prone star with PSG’s Kylian Mbappe
Los Blancos have reportedly had enough of the Welsh international being on the sidelines
REAL MADRID have lost patience with injury-prone Gareth Bale and will sell him in the summer, according to reports.
claim Bernabeu chiefs are ready to sell the Welsh winger as he has played just 60 per cent of games since joining for a club-record £86million.
Bale, 28, has suffered 19 injuries — costing Real £900,000 a game — since arriving in 2013 and is currently set to be out until the New Year after picking up a thigh injury.
This season was seen as the former Tottenham star's last chance to prove his worth but the club remain unconvinced.
And the report suggests Bale's constant injury woes have seen his value decrease from £133m to around £80m.
Manchester United are claimed to be the club most likely to sign Bale if Real do sell in the summer.
also say Los Blancos will use Bale's departure to try and go back in for PSG ace Kylian Mbappe.
The young Frenchman joined the Ligue 1 outfit on loan with the obligation of buying him for £160m at the end of the season.

But Financial Fair Play rules could see PSG have to offload some stars, with Real hoping they can persuade them to sell Mbappe.
The report also claims the fee could be over £200m — which would smash the world-record £198m PSG splashed out on Neymar in the summer.
