Arsene Wenger still fears Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will leave Arsenal
Contract rebels rip Spurs apart but boss Wenger admits: 'I am long enough in the job to know wins like this are not enough'
ARSENE WENGER has admitted love may not be enough to keep Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil at Arsenal.
The contract rebels, who can both quit the Gunners for free next summer, ripped Spurs apart to win the North London derby.
And boss Wenger declared: “I am convinced they love the club, they love the team.
“But I am long enough in the job to know wins like this are not enough. The quality of the contract has to be good enough for them as well.
“There are other clubs out there who can offer good contracts as well.
“The contract is part of it, the whole thing has to be right, they have to be happy.”
German schemer Ozil set up Shkodran Mustafi’s opener and Chile hitman Sanchez added the second in front of a delirious Emirates crowd.
But the pair can both talk to interested clubs about a free transfer from the beginning of January.

The outstanding Ozil savoured the win, which moved the Gunners to within a point of their great rivals.
He said: “Of course this is sweet, we are happy, the fans are happy.
