World Cup: Nigeria media man Toyin Ibitoye feels the cold in outrageous hat at draw

It was around 37 degrees below the temperature in Nigerian capital of Abuja when the World Cup draw took place in Moscow

IT was around 37 degrees Celsius in the Nigerian capital of Abuja when the World Cup draw took place.

And it left Nigeria's media officer Toyin Ibitoye feeling the bite of a Russian winter at ZERO degrees Celsius in Moscow.

The sports media personality was pictured arriving at the State Cremlin Palace for World Cup 2018 draw wearing an outrageous furry hat.

Replying to a Tweet with a the picture, Ibitoye said: "Ol' boy, it was drizzling snow."

The draw threw up a nightmare group for the Super Eagles.

They will face Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in Group D throughout an 11-day period in June.

Although the cities of Kaliningrad, Volgograd and Saint Petersburg should be around 20 degrees warmer by June.

It is the FIFTH time in just six World Cups that Nigeria have qualified for that tthey have been drawn against Argentina in the group stage.

And they have incredibly been drawn against each other in each the last THREE World Cups.

The Super Eagles will be hoping for a change of fortune at Russia 2018.

They have lost the last four World Cup games between the sides.

Lionel Messi scored twice in a 3-2 win at the 2014 tournament in Brazil that helped Argentina qualify for the last 16.

Samson Siasia opened the scoring for Nigeria in 2002, but Claudio Caniggia hit back with a double to win it.

Nigeria shocked Argentina recently in a friendly in Moscow as Alex Iwobi netted twice.
