City stars including Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus showed off the jackets as they prepared to fly out for the final group stage game.

The league-leaders are also top of their Champions League group and have already sealed their spot in the last-16.

However, the game will be no dead-rubber as Shakhtar Donetsk will aim to snatch second place from Napoli, sitting three points behind the Italians as things stand.

But Manchester City's stars looked relaxed and comfortable as they prepared to make the long journey to Ukraine on Monday.

The City players - and boss - were wearing the Dsquared2 jackets designed specifically for Champions League away trips in the 2017-18 season.

On the clothing range, Dsquared2 said: “Our work is shaped by our passion for the game and for the faces of this team, as well as our close friendship with Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling found a unique way to pass the time on the journey... by poking fun of follically-challenged team-mates David Silva and Fabian Delph.

The on-fire England forward described their heads as a "boiled egg" and "Malteser" respectively as he took close-up snaps on his social media.

City will go into the clash in high spirits after leaving it late, yet again, to beat West Ham 2-1 on Sunday evening.

After the nervy win, Guardiola revealed: "It was similar to the last few games, in the second half I thought we would score. It was massive.

"They played ten players inside the box, it was almost impossible. It's a big victory. It showed what we are.
