TAKING A TUMBLE

Watch the hilarious moment a photographer slipped over before Birmingham’s clash with Wolves

The cameraman stumbled over as he began to film Blues captain Michael Morrison as the players walked onto the pitch at St Andrew's

ONE photographer certainly had an evening to forget after he hilariously slipped over prior to the kick-off between Birmingham and Wolves.

With bots sets of players walking from the tunnel onto the pitch at St Andrew's, the cameraman nipped in front of Michael Morrsion before he was sent tumbling over.

As he began to film the Blues skipper walking out with his mascot, the photographer started stumbling backwards, as he landed flat on his back.

Morrison simply looked down as he walked past him on the floor, much to the amusements of those inside the ground.

But laughter from the home supporters soon turned to despair after the away side took the lead in just the eighth minute.

Brazilian youth international Leo Bonatini fired the Championship leaders ahead after Ivan Cavaleiro capitalised on a dreadful pass by Birmingham left-back Jonathan Grounds.

He was denied brilliantly by goalkeeper David Stockdale, before getting up and stopping Diogo Jota from breaking the deadlock.

But the ball eventually fell to Bonatini, whose shot just trickled over the line with goal-line technology confirming the opening strike.

A loss for the Blues would see them remain in the relegation zone, level on points with Bolton in 21st place.

While three points for Wolves would see Nuno Espirito Santo's side go four points clear of second-placed Cardiff City.
