are reporting that Benitez wants funds to add to his squad and stay in the Premier League.

Newcastle are in need of a striker, No10 and left back with Benitez not near spending the £70m he was promised in the summer.

But the potential takeover of the club by Amanda Staveley could make deals harder to complete.

If Mike Ashley does not sell before the winter window he may be forced to give Benitez the funds he needs.
