CHELSEA have been given a huge boost in their quest to sign Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, according to reports.

Blues boss Antonio Conte failed to lure the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge in the summer, but could yet land the £50million-rated defender.

According to the , the Brazilian international is unhappy in Turin, and wants to quit the Old Lady in the near future.

They state that there is a growing acceptance that a move away from the Juventus Stadium would be best for both parties.

And speaking to Italian news outlet Premium Sport, Juventus CEO Beppe Moratta echoed similar statements when he revealed

He said: "Every time a player asks to be sold we are in favour of the transfer."

may look at bringing Sandro to West London in the January transfer window, as he looks to provide competition with current left-back Marcos Alonso.

And with the news that the two-time Serie A winner is determined to leave, the Premier League champions could sign him in a cut-price deal.

But Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Porto full-back Alex Telles, with the West Londoners and Juve recently sending scouts to watch him in action.

Sandro is believed to have been given a lucrative new deal to extend his stay with the Coppa Italia champions, but he has no intention of agreeing to a new contract.

Since joining Juventus from Porto in 2015 for a fee believed to be in the region of £23m, he has established himself as of the world's top left-backs.

He has featured 15 times in all competitions under boss Max Allegri, netting once in a 4-0 win over rivals Torino.
