ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE could land himself in hot water for appearing to use his mobile while on the motorway.

Arsenal’s £52million record signing posted a video of himself on the motorway on Friday afternoon.

With Lacazette seemingly sat in the front of a vehicle, the Instagram footage begins with an image of the motorway and the caption: #SUNINLONDON.

The footage then cuts and points at the France international, 26, who looks ahead and then glances back down the lens.

Lacazette looks relaxed he his sings along to music in the background.

He is sat on the drivers' side of the car, but may have inverted the camera and instead be on the passenger side.

The Arsenal striker could also have been in the passenger seat if it is an imported car with the steering wheel on the left.

Drivers are not allowed to even touch a hands-free device while their vehicle is moving – unless it is mounted and they are using a sat-nav system.

Lacazette does not appear to touch the device at any time.

New penalties came in to effect on March 1 2017, with drivers facing maximum penalties of £200 and a six-point penalty.

Lacazette, who has netted eight goals in 17 appearances this season, is expected to start in Arsenal’s attack against away at Southampton on Sunday.

CARL OF DUTY Carlo Ancelotti puts Premier League clubs on alert by moving back to London

Arsene Wenger thought the striker was set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up a groin injury in the 5-0 win over Huddersfield on November 29.

But he surprised Jose Mourinho by appearing in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester United last Saturday.
