DAVID MOYES admits his West Ham players are too slow to stop Eden Hazard.
The second-from-bottom Hammers face Chelsea on Saturday lunchtime lunchtime and are desperate for a win.
Boss Moyes inherited an elderly squad from the sacked Slaven Bilic that had the worst stats for effort.
The Scot has put them through more rigorous training sessions to up the workrate.
But he does not trust any of them to man-mark Belgium star Hazard.
He said: “There are occasions when I would consider man- marking.
Hazard is a player who would definitely come into that category.
“I’ve done it in the past with other players like David Silva at Manchester City.
“The problem is I don’t know if I’ve got someone who is that type of player to be a man-marker.
“I had people at Everton who could do it. With Silva I put Jack Rodwell on him.
“It needs to be people who are athletic and quick. Looking through the squad I couldn’t really identify anyone who could do that.”
CARL OF DUTY Carlo Ancelotti puts Premier League clubs on alert by moving back to London
One Hammer who will be hardly moving at all tomorrow is Joe Hart.
The England No 1 is on the bench having been ousted by Adrian.
Hart could not play against parent club Manchester City last week and saw Adrian excel in a 2-1 defeat.
Hart knows his World Cup place is in jeopardy if he cannot get back between the sticks.
But Moyes does not want to release Hart to get more game-time elsewhere.
He said: “I am aware that he is England’s first-choice goalkeeper and there is a World Cup this summer.
“But, as West Ham’s manager, I am only interested in winning matches and doing what is right for this club.
“I don’t think we could work here without two top goalkeepers.”
