FULHAM have opened the door for Ryan Sessegnon to join Tottenham or Manchester United.
The Championship side have stepped up their pursuit of a left-back for the transfer window.
They have sounded out intermediaries over which full-backs are available in the clearest indication that Sessegnon, 17, could leave when the window opens in three weeks.
Spurs are long-term admirers of the England Under-19 star, who has been billed as Danny Rose’s replacement at left-back, although he can also play further up the field.
United have also been keeping tabs on one of the game’s top prospects.
Sessegnon has scored four times for the Lilywhites so far this season including a hat-trick during his 50th appearance for the club in Fulham's 5-4 defeat over Sheffield United.

The Londoner emerged as one of the country's best prospects for the future when he finished as the joint-top scorer at the European Under-19 Championships.
