BITTER Manchester rivals United and City are still at war after their Old Trafford tunnel bust-up.
Both clubs are rowing over who was really to blame for the mayhem which followed City’s 2-1 win.
In Sunday’s fracas:
- Furious United striker Romelu Lukaku tried to clamber past boss Jose Mourinho and slam dunk the heads of City players.
- Mourinho almost lost his balance in the melee.
- City captain Vincent Kompany — Lukaku’s Belgian team-mate — burst towards United’s manager and staff in anger.
- Mourinho shouted into the City dressing room: “Shut up, you’ve won nothing yet. Show some respect, this is the home of United not you.”
- Mourinho had water squirted at him by City staff, while cartons of milk were also thrown.
- City coach Mikel Arteta suffered a cut above his eye. Both clubs now agree this was due to him banging his head on the dressing-room door and NOT from a bottle thrown by Lukaku.
FA chiefs reacted yesterday and demanded a full explanation from both clubs by tomorrow.

United remain furious at what they claim were ‘classless’ celebrations by their opponents which spilled out of the dressing room.
Tempers were already at boiling point after United’s Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera had a late penalty appeal turned down following a clash with Nicolas Otamendi and was booked for diving.

Mourinho’s mood soured after he watched a replay of the incident on TV in the home dressing room.
He was adamant it should have been a penalty.
That was when he went to have it out with ref Michael Oliver in the officials’ room.
On the way, City’s dressing-room door swung open and Mourinho heard their celebrations at full volume.
Already incensed, he targeted City’s Brazilian keeper Ederson.
The pair then argued in Portuguese before Mourinho reminded City they had yet to win the title.
That led to the scuffle involving 20 players and staff from both sides.
Punches were thrown — but none connected — and there was plenty of shoving and pushing and elbowing.
Ref Oliver did not see the incident and therefore did not put it in his report.
