Lidelof, 23, will further endear himself to Old Trafford fans with this gesture.

He made a sticky start following his summer moves from Benfica.

But now he looks to have settled down to life in the Premier League.

His performances have come mostly from the bench but the Swede is showing signs that he is the real deal.

Sadly for United, he couldn't get one over his old mate Ederson in the Manchester derby.

The two players were teammates at Benfica before moving to the Premier League.

Manchester City, of course, beat United 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday with Ederson making a wonderful late double save,
